Executive expedition

The operational expedition cycle

OPEP — observe, prepare, execute and perform.

OPEP puts the organisation in motion. Observe and Prepare are used to create or adapt PERGER. Execute uses PERGER as a reference. Perform opens the first MARC steering cycle.

Observe · Prepare · Execute · Perform

OPEP

01

Observe

Understand and analyse the situation, facts, environment, risks, opportunities and stakeholders.

02

Prepare

Define priorities, resources, responsibilities and the plan, then complete or adapt PERGER.

03

Execute

Act with discipline, coordination and adaptability, using PERGER as the reference for why, what and how.

04

Perform

Review progress, compare outcomes with expectations and trigger the first MARC cycle.

ADWaltiS Expedition Management System

One architecture, three complementary roles

Observe & Prepare → build or adapt PERGER → Execute with PERGER as reference → Perform → MARC → update PERGER when necessary.

One architecture, three complementary roles

OPEP starts and paces the expedition. PERGER provides its map, destination and readiness checklist. MARC steers progress, improves execution and updates PERGER when reality changes.
